The National Assembly uploaded the draft constitution presented by GERB to its website. This was possible after the ruling majority managed to collect the signatures of 127 deputies.
The draft of a new constitution was presented to the office of the National Assembly on Wednesday. Previously, PG President Daniela Daritkova of GERB and Iskren Veselinov of IMRO announced that the signatures were collected after the changes were made. The missing votes came from the WILL group and independent deputies.
After the negotiations, the idea of a legislative initiative by the judiciary faded. And the preamble to the Basic Law has been returned.
