From 00.00 hours on 12/24/2020, people who arrive in Bulgaria, the departure point of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, who can enter the country, will be quarantined for 10 days at their home or in another place that they have indicated for their residence, reported the press center of the Ministry of Health.

Those arriving by air will undergo a rapid antigen test for COVID-19 at the respective airport in Bulgaria. In the event of a negative test result, the director of the respective regional health inspection or a deputy director authorized by him issues a prescription for quarantine for a period of 10 days, and in the event of a positive result, a prescription for the mandatory isolation for a period of 14 days.

As of January 1, 2021, people who are not subject to the prohibition of entry and stay in our country, upon arrival in the country present a document that shows a negative result of a study carried out up to 72 hours before entry. to Bulgaria by the polymerase chain reaction method for proof of COVID-19 at the date of the study entered in the document.

Upon submission of such a document, they are not subject to mandatory quarantine.
