Today, December 17, 2020, the Plovdiv District Prosecutor’s Office initiated a pre-trial process for minor bodily injury caused by hooliganism to a girl under 13 years of age, a crime according to article 131 para. 1 point 12 in combination with art. 130 par. 1 supra art. 63 par. 1 article 4 of the Penal Code.
In the case, a preliminary investigation was carried out, during which it was established that on December 16, 2020 in Plovdiv, near a school, a group of minors, aged 13 and 14, arranged a meeting through social networks. , their goal was to clear up a conflict between them.
In the encounter, two girls under the age of 14 insulted the injured 13-year-old girl, pushed her to the ground and hit her on the head and body with their hands and feet. During the incident, some of the children present took pictures with their mobile phones.
In the course of the pre-trial proceedings, all those involved in the incident will be questioned. Technical, forensic and other experts will be appointed. Attached to the case is a video taken by the children present during the incident. Correspondence on the case should also be maintained with the Department of Child Protection.
