On the other hand, the court held that the facts presented by presenter T. are true, verified during the preparation of the report and proven as such in the course of legal proceedings. In view of these data, the court considered that the defendant T. would have summarized the facts presented in the procedural report, which were true, and had ruled based on them, which represented his Evaluation of the plaintiff’s behavior as a political figure. and it cannot be assumed that the defendant’s opinion was formed and expressed solely to the detriment of the plaintiff’s dignity ”.
Simeonov was ordered to cover the costs of the case. It will have to pay BGN 1,460 to Slavi Trifonov and BGN 200 to bTV Media Group.
