The first showroom of the company Aspark – maker of the world’s most powerful and agile production car Owl (“Owl”) opened in the Japanese city of Osaka. With the opening of the representative office, the acceptance of orders for the European and North American markets began at prices of € 2,900,000.
Aspark Owl has four electric motors powered by an 800 volt battery with a capacity of 64 kWh. The total power is 2,012 CV and the torque of 2,000 Nm. The maximum speed is 400 km / h and the range with a load – 450 km.
The Japanese company claims that Owl can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km / h) in 1.69 seconds. During tests on the Italian “Marco Simoncelli” track near Misano in October, the electric hypercar managed to reach 100 km / h in 1.72 seconds.
A total of 50 “owls” will be produced, 20 of which will go to Europe, 20 to Asia and the Middle East and 10 to North America. Sales in the United States, where Owl will cost $ 3.56 million, will be handled by a single office in Miami.
