Levski’s management is keen to increase the salary ceiling at the club. This could happen after a contract with a general sponsor is signed, writes Tema Sport.
Currently, the highest salary for “Gerena” is 10,000 lev. This amount was nailed after the shares went to Nasko Sirakov.
Gerena has been waiting for a long time to find two great advertisers who contribute a large part of the team’s budget. The announcements of the hand figures were that this would happen at the end of October. However, the 10th calendar month has expired and November has already been halved, but this has not happened yet. The club believes there will be a contract development this week.
It has already become clear that Levski is expecting a foreign construction company as a general sponsor. In addition, an agreement is expected with a Bulgarian bookmaker, which will also invest money in the club.
One of the first things Levski will do after providing new funding is to settle the case with his former head coach Petar Hubchev. He remains in this position, so Slavisa Stojanovic is the sporting director.
In winter, the Serb with a Slovenian passport will be able to make a selection as they wish. Stojanovic will have the opportunity to attract two players with higher salaries than the current ones to the club.
