The legendary turmoil made history as a pioneer of ancient Japanese sports in our country. Often known as the Giant of good nature, he is one of the inspirers of Kaloyan Mahlyanov – Kotooshu. They are both from the Turnovo region, and it is Jekov who paves the way for Kotooshu to Japan.

“He is a very happy, kind and noble man. With him we began to build sumo in our country. He liked to meet friends and have fun. He did not say anything bad in his life,” said Federation general secretary Lili Kaneva.
