The monthly allowance for a family with one child is currently BGN 40, for two BGN 90, for twins BGN 75. Allowances are paid according to an income criterion: up to BGN 410 of monthly income per family member. With an income of 40 to 510 BGN, 80% of the amount of the aid is paid.
We are currently working on updating the budget for this year and the draft budget for next year. According to Sacheva, next year social policy will be the item with the highest spending in the budget.
He reiterated that a decision has not yet been made on the indexation of pensions next year, the only thing that is certain is that the supplements of BGN 50 for all pensioners will be paid in March (end of government mandate), as promised by the Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. .
