Russia can suspend dialogue with the EU. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Today, the diplomat had a conversation with the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borel. There, Lavrov called for an equal dialogue.
According to him, many Western diplomats do not accept the idea of a respectful dialogue. He believes that at such times, it is probably best to stop the dialogue.
The words of the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Layen, are also remembered, who affirmed that she would not negotiate with the current Russian leadership. Lavrov said he was willing to comply with such an opinion.
He has overseen the European Council on Foreign Relations. According to him, there are unacceptable opinions.
Russian diplomacy will continue to maintain a normal dialogue.
