President Rumen Radev exercised his right to vote. He chose to vote by machine.
“I voted against the collapse of the state, anarchy and corruption. I have voted for a free, just and prosperous Bulgaria. I think that although it is difficult for Bulgarians, we take our destiny into our own hands. These elections will be the first step towards normality, towards a return to laws and rules. Towards an awareness of the power of collective action. To unleash the enormous potential that our people bring, “said the head of state.
He called on all Bulgarian adults to vote, “otherwise, history will send us to a correctional democracy.”
“Let us all vote today to have a representative and dignified parliament,” Radev said.
The president said it was the first time he had seen so many people vote in an electoral college where they exercised their right to vote. According to him, this shows that Bulgarians are committed to these elections.
As for the reproaches for the date of the elections, he said that they should have been much earlier, last year.
“Chaos would be avoided and the lives of many Bulgarians would be saved. Thousands of Bulgarian families and businesses would be saved from bankruptcy,” said the head of state.
According to him, Bulgarians feel that there is great interest in these elections and that is why he expects many people to vote.
Rumen Radev’s expectations remain a stable parliament with legitimacy, so that we have a strong and stable government.
