The story shows what happens to Diane (Kristin Baranski) after she is fired from her own company. Now she has a new lawyer, her godmother Maya Rindel, played by Rose Leslie.
The plot revolves around the three main characters: Diane, Maya and her assistant Luke, following not only the work of the law firm, but also some political and social movements such as the fight for equal rights, online harassment and the fake news.
