The peak began on Wednesday, when the data for the day showed 436 infected, on Thursday the previous day’s figures already showed 437 infected with K-19, on Friday the statistics were 516 cases and tonight there is a new increase: 612 cases.
BLITZ recalls that the peak of K-19 infections is not only in our country, but throughout the world. The last 24 hours have been critical for Europe, with many countries posting alarming and record-breaking data on virus patients.
However, the situation continues to be worse in the United States.
Meanwhile, the WHO announced that for the last day there is an absolute record of infected in the world – 350,766 inhabitants.
The cases of the new coronavirus, confirmed in Bulgaria at the moment, are a total of 23 871. Active cases are 7271. 15 713 people have already been cured. 150 of them have signed up in the last 24 hours.
With a proven coronavirus infection, 1,131 patients were admitted to hospitals. Of these, 58 are in intensive care facilities.
The national information system shows that the medical personnel with confirmed COVID-19 in our country is 1,336.
44 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 15 were diagnosed by doctors, 13 by nurses, 6 by nurses, 2 by paramedics and 8 by other medical personnel.
887 are the deceased in which the new coronavirus was found. There are seven new cases in the last 24 hours.
A 79-year-old man died of heart disease,
– an 86-year-old man with heart disease,
– a 64-year-old man with chronic heart and neurological disease,
– a 48-year-old woman for whom there is no information on comorbidities,
– a 74-year-old man with diabetes, chronic heart and kidney disease,
– an 81-year-old man with chronic heart and lung disease
– a 77-year-old man with an unspecified disease.
The Ministry of Health expresses its condolences to the relatives and relatives of the deceased.
