Just over a year ago, Richard Gere became a father a second time: His third wife, Alejandro Silva, gave birth to a baby. A few months later, it became clear that the 70-year-old actor and 37-year-old Mrs. Gere were expecting a baby again.
Their second baby was born on Tuesday, April 21, but happy parents have yet to share how they will name it, Hello wrote.
This is Richard Gere’s third child. In addition to little Alexander, he also has Homer James, 20, from his ex-wife Carrie Lowell. The actor’s current wife, Alejandra, also has an older son, Alberto (6 years old), from his previous marriage.
Richard Gere married Alejandro Silva in April 2018 with a civil ceremony held in Spain. The couple also missed a wedding party for family and friends at the actor’s ranch, located on the outskirts of New York. Two years later, they are already having two children.
