An investigation shows the price of the vote in the poorest region of our country: Northwest Bulgaria. Voting in Vidin this morning is going well. The participation is a little more than 10%. There are no serious violations at noon.
bTV managed to enter the voice trade covertly. Days before the vote, our undercover person drove an expensive car through various Vidin villages. He presented himself as a member of the party seeking electoral support. Proposals for him were not late.
“Everyone gives 50 BGN per person. For me, there will be between 10 and 15 BGN per person,” says a man who introduces himself as a Medovitsa Spa. He connects our “agent” with some of his relatives.
In the neighboring town of Dimovo, our surrogate came across another proposal. By Magdalena Kamenova – accused in a case of arranging marriages between Bulgarian and Albanian immigrants in Germany for the purpose of obtaining European citizenship, according to the prosecutor’s office. He tells how, under a travel plan, he married more than 30 women for 2,000 euros per marriage. And he is preparing a list with at least 50 votes, with people from the villages of Dimovo and Makresh.
Villagers also mention the names of royal parties, which they claimed distributed money.
