The president is authorized to work for the unification of the Bulgarian people. This was announced by the Member of Parliament of GERB Vezhdi Rashidov
Vejdi Rashidov is a Bulgarian sculptor, Minister of Culture in Boyko’s cabinet in an interview with “Focus”.
According to him, the president is obliged to give courage to the state institutions and those who must have the will to work tomorrow, and not to transfer them as a responsibility to the Ministry of the Interior.
According to Rashidov, due to his ambitions and personal battles, the president cannot make a national drama.
What country is the head of state from? Is the Ministry of the Interior out of the country? That people protest, that they make suggestions about how they want to live, that there are demands, are important, but whose aggression is it? Whose stones, knives and irons were found today in the park, the police or the “peaceful” citizens led by the president? Did the cops push the garbage cans, throw stones? The president must present himself as a statesman and unite the Bulgarian nation, Vezhdi Rashidov commented.

The deputy asked the institutions to serve the Bulgarian state.
I also have infinite respect for the presidential institution. For three years I have not allowed myself to say a bad word in the name of statehood. Right now, when the president says that people are only a part, and the majority are not people, I am sorry. I want a president to unite us and, in the name of prosperity, we all go with our minds and our work. I keep appealing to him, so I asked him to pull Bulgaria out of the burning cauldron, Vezhdi Rashidov said.
