“Prime Minister’s delusion is a growing concern“.
This was stated by President Rumen Radev in response to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov’s statement that “a beautiful lady” was sent by people close to the head of state to photograph his bedroom in the “Sequoia” government villa in “Boyana”. The footage was distributed anonymously to the media months ago. According to Borissov, they were made by a lady sent by relatives of the head of state. They were made in her absence. The photos show wads of euros in the prime minister’s nightstand drawer and a pistol. Borissov does not deny the authenticity of the footage, but claims that it was directed. The prime minister hinted that it would be much more logical, if he had money and gold, to keep them in the cash register by the door, and not in his drawer.
“Many times I have clarified how insidiously its people, from their closest environment, cooked me in a very simple way with a wonderful young lady who came and played all these things in my absence. They did it perfectly, hats off. They had studied the situation very well, they had been preparing for this moment for years. Their mistake was that they released the video, showing the bedroom, the house, it’s called death, their utility rooms, in my absence. If, for example, there was money, but he keeps gold, money and diamonds in a drawer, after the cash register, everyone knows who lived there, and I found him, this cash register is in front of the door, right in front of the door. So, as a police operation they did it fantastically, I take off my hat and it is not by chance that I repeat it. Because his closest entourage finished him“Borissov said a few days ago.
The photos, along with a video of the house showing a brunette woman, were sent to the media in various portions. Earlier, recordings of the prime minister’s talks were released. The prosecution filed a lawsuit, but not for its content, but for the illegal registration of the prime minister.
“A guilty conscience breeds paranoia, and the prime minister makes 7 million Bulgarians hostage to his paranoia“the president replied on Saturday. He was visiting Karnobat on the occasion of the city holiday.
Radev denied that he was preparing a political project. The president only said that he supported “any organization, party or movement whose priority is the Bulgarian people, not the narrow interest of the party.”
