Anti-government protesters and the attorney general blocked Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard on another night of demonstrations in the capital. Today marks the 168th consecutive night of anti-government demonstrations.

Their procession started at Nezavisimost Square and heads to Orlov Most.

Disgruntled citizens demand the resignation of the government and the attorney general.

They announced January 13 as the new date for a nationwide protest and called for mass participation.

Meanwhile, dozens of people gathered in front of the Judicial Chamber of the capital for the final protest of the “Justice for All” initiative of the year.

Before the meeting, the organizers presented their ideas for judicial reform, including the removal of the position of “chief prosecutor” and the introduction of judicial control over the refusal of the prosecution to initiate a pre-trial process.

The event marks 1 year since the inauguration of Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev. The event is preparing the signing of a letter to the European Commissioner for Justice and to the LIBE Committee of the EP.
