After 10 pm tonight, protesters surrounded GERB MEP Andrey Novakov, a guest on “Panorama”.
He was blocked for more than 10 minutes by protesters, who bombarded him with questions about government policies. They demanded his resignation, chanted “traitor” and one of them had spat at him.
The gendarmerie tried to take the MEP through San Stefano and Sheynovo streets. The persecution continued. In the end, the police took him out on Evlogi Georgiev Blvd., BNT reports.
Earlier, around 9:30 pm, protesters blocked the BNT exit from Tulovo Street, in the direction of Kanala, with branches. They also blocked the street with inverted garbage containers.
