The ban on the export of medicinal oxygen, introduced in Bulgaria in mid-December last year, is lifted. This is ordered by the Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin AngelovKostadin AngelovKostadin Angelov was born on June 7, 1977. He graduated from Sofia Medical University in 2004. with his order, issued today January 22, announced the press center of the Ministry of Health.

We remind you that the ban was introduced due to the large number of hospitalized patients whose treatment required oxygen. In December, 452 oxygen concentrators were purchased for hospitals in the country to avoid interruptions in oxygen treatment. At the same time, oxygen supply companies have increased the number of rotating oxygen cylinders.

The Minister of Health proposes to extend the epidemic situation for another three months

Since early 2021, the number of patients requiring intensive treatment requiring oxygen has decreased. During the last month, the Ministry of Health has received no signs of problems with the oxygen supply.
