Prof. Nikolay Vitanov. Take: New TV
“What turned out to be a bad option for September is a good option for October. We are still in a calmer environment, which is expected to continue in part of October. Thus, the mathematician from the National Operational Headquarters Prof. Nikolay Vitanov commented on the distribution of COVID-19 in our country in the study of “Hello, Bulgaria” on Nova TV.
“By the end of October, we would expect to reach 1,000 deaths, which is below the world average,” predicted the mathematician.
“When 100 people are cured, 101 are infected. Currently, the epidemic is expanding slightly. This happens after a fairly long period of contraction, which was very good for Bulgaria. In autumn we entered with relatively good indicators compared to the others, ”said Prof. Vitanov.
“If the measures are followed, then nothing dramatic is expected in October. We need to toughen up and get through November, because it is critical: there are conditions for the spread of COVID, as well as other viruses. December does not have many working days. Then the end of the year and the first semester, so the current school year is saved ”, he explained.
