Another day with more than 3000 cures in one day

“27.5 per 100,000 inhabitants is the mortality rate. According to this indicator, we are second in the EU. There is a slight downward trend in the total number of cases in the last 10 days. This should in no way diminish our vigilance “he added.

“In the last 7 days, 16,872 people have been cured. A total of 11,405 in the last 4 days. These figures are the hope we need in this battle, which continues to pressure the health system and continues to pressure us,” he said. the Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov.

“52 percent of the beds for patients with uncomplicated forms of coronavirus are occupied. The occupancy of intensive care beds is 42 percent. The high employment rate in Yambol, Shumen and in the districts of Burgas, Blagoevgrad , Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Sliven and Razgrad is awesome. ” added.

According to him, at the moment we do not have an area in the country that is colored black. “In red between 600 and 1000 are Burgas, Vratsa, Sofia, Stara Zagora, Yambol. The city of Sofia is at the limit, very soon we hope that it will fall below 600 per 1000 inhabitants”, emphasized Prof. Angelov.

Prof. Angelov: With the data at the moment we will not open the gardens and nurseries

“You see what is happening in Europe. Some measures are introduced, others are abandoned. This virus constantly denies us. His colleagues said that he would leave school in the summer. Others said it was respiratory,” Angelov said.

According to him, the opening of kindergartens is not being prepared at the moment. “We need information before the weekend to make a decision. At the moment, the data does not lead us in this direction. There are four days left. When we have enough data to motivate this decision, we will take it,” said the Minister of Health.

“We have 10 days left until December 21, in which together we must achieve the success we talked about at the beginning,” he added.

According to the Minister of Health, distrust in the system is very high. “We must do everything we can to restore confidence in her. Perhaps COVID-19 helped us in that direction,” he said. He added: “We have the ambition to help all doctors and professionals who will be committed to vaccination. Information should get to them quickly so they don’t have to read and search. When we have that decision, we will announce it. “

“I will definitely not tolerate human mistreatment of patients. I have ordered inspections at St. Anna in Varna. I am sure there will be sanctions after the inspection,” the minister commented.

According to him, we are working closely with representatives of companies that produce COVID-19 vaccines. They are expected to provide all available drug information. “In this way we will be able to do an information campaign,” said Prof. Angelov. He insisted that special attention would be paid to any patient with allergy data to whom the drug is administered. “That is why the drug is prescribed by a doctor,” the minister commented on the possible side effects of the vaccine in people with severe allergic reactions.
