Coronavirus patients have always been seriously ill, Professor Daskalova warned, adding that in the first wave she noticed that there were patients who had no evidence that they had diabetes.
MMA doctors need a little more time to determine if the virus is the cause of glucose metabolism disorders. However, pediatricians themselves must say if COVID-19 triggers diabetes in children. Vaccines are not harmful to people with diabetes. We will be vaccinated with what we have, Professor Daskalova was categorical.
