Tsena Boyadzhieva is the third generation of the Plovdiv Boyadzhievi art family. His grandfather is the famous Bulgarian artist Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, and his father is Georgi Boyadzhiev-Boyadzhana, one of the Big Five of the Plovdiv group of artists, along with Georgi Bozhilov-Slona, Dimitar Kirov – Di Kiro, Encho Pironkov, Ioan Leviev and Hristo Stefanov.
Tsena Boyadzhieva is the creator, gallery owner and curator of one of the most visited art spaces in Sofia: the Sofia Gallery “Bulgaria”, located in the concert complex of the same name, home to the musical ensembles of the Philharmonic of Sofia.
