According to NTV in the Bayrakli district of Izmir, ten houses were destroyed. There is also destruction in the Bornova neighborhood in Izmir, reports TASS.

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said that at least six buildings had been destroyed. Meanwhile, the governor of Izmir province, Tunch Sawyer, announced the demolition of at least 20 houses. “To date, six houses are known to have been destroyed in Bornova and Bayrakli districts in Izmir,” the minister wrote on his Twitter page.

“There are 4 victims and about 120 injured. More than 20 blocks have collapsed. It is not known how many people were in them. So far there is no serious panic. However, we were all very scared. It is as if the land has been divided in two, “the president of the emigration organization in Izmir, Abdurahim Nursoy, told NOVA.
