I did not speak to Boyko Borissov as a politician and GERB leader, but as Prime Minister, we discussed what the citizens of Vidin need and the roads that the state owes to this region.

This was stated in an interview with BNT Rositsa Kirova, who last week was fired from the post of regional coordinator of Slavi Trifonov’s party “There are such people” for Vidin, after joining Borissov’s inspection on the Vidin – Botevgrad highway. Kirova surprisingly appeared on a live feed from the prime minister’s jeep, repeatedly thanking him for the active construction that would revive the area, and Borisov addressed her as a family member with Rossi. Kirova is president of the civic association United for Change, which has organized protests in recent years against the delay in the construction of the Vidin-Botevgrad highway.

In response to a question, Kirova clarified that she no longer participates in the anti-government protests, and argues that they have been exhausted and offer no alternative.
