Plovdiv police reported a case of assault among teenagers. Pre-trial proceedings have started.
On the afternoon of December 16, a 37-year-old woman from Plovdiv reported to the First Regional Police Department that her 13-year-old daughter had been beaten. During the conversation, the girl affirmed that she and her 11 friends and acquaintances had arranged a meeting to see each other outdoors through social networks, BNT reports.
Upon reaching the designated place – near the PG “Mechanotechnicum”, two of the girls beat her, expressing it with hand blows, jerks and kicks, and some of the other children took pictures with their mobile phones.
The participants in the incident – two 14-year-old girls, graduates of different schools in Plovdiv – have been identified from operational search activities carried out.
The reason for the beating was a dispute that turned into an interpersonal conflict. The injured girl was not seriously injured. Work on the case continues according to instructions given by a prosecutor on duty at the Plovdiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
