“Dnevnik” follows in real time the news about the infection in the country – read here. News on the subject of the world – here.

The largest police union announced that it was ready for the protests and expressed its deep “gratitude” to the uniformed officers of the Council of Ministers and the leadership of the Ministry of the Interior for the “high qualification” given to them after the institution occupied 35th place In this way it is placed outside the list of a total of 34 ministries, institutes, agencies, funds and others by decree of the Council of Ministers, whose employees “at the forefront” in the fight against the coronavirus will receive bonuses.

In a statement to the media, the leadership of the Trade Union Federation of the Ministry of the Interior (SFSMVR) expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that they were excluded from the list, which is expected to increase individual monthly basic salaries by up to 30%. . They also ironically commented that this “seems to be considered an adequate assessment of their activities in the last and future months of the state of emergency and situation caused by the epidemiological situation.”

The organization highlights that the Ministry of the Interior, together with health personnel from across the country, has been the main responsible for the measures implemented and continues to suffer the worst consequences of the crisis, but nevertheless, it does not seem to have gained a material incentive.

“The thousands of working hours of colleagues at all times, in direct contact with quarantined and sick people, the hundreds of sick employees, the risks of contagion from the front line where they work are clearly insufficient to avoid such discrimination and an insulting decision, “police said.

“This is a natural continuation of the media promised and not received by us 1,000 BGN per month for those who work on the front line. It is also a continuation of the ‘several hundred’ BGN awards’ distributed in an insulting manner,” he added the police union.

They describe their “exit” from the list of institutions at risk in the first line as “extreme hypocrisy” and add that they do not accept the place where they are ordered through it.

“This decree shows that the high public evaluations of our work from the beginning of the pandemic to the present have been insincere. The consequences of this insult will be to the detriment of the motivation to work and to the detriment of social peace,” warned the police organization. .

They express willingness to start negotiations to increase the salaries of the employees of the Ministry of the Interior, worthy of their work and the situation in which they find themselves.

“The lack of such negotiations or a satisfactory result will inevitably lead to effective protest actions, the only possible way to say once again: Thank you!”, Warns the SFSMVR.
