“As we all know, the state of emergency in the country expired today. The amendment to the health law was published the same day. With it, the National Assembly gives us the opportunity to impose anti-epidemic measures, even though we are not in state of emergency”. There would also be a consultation with parents on whether to open kindergartens. According to Ananiev, groups in kindergartens and nurseries should not be larger than 10-12 children.
There is also a shopping schedule reserved for the elderly from 8:30 to 10:30.
The requirement of a 14-day quarantine upon entering Bulgaria remains and the Minister of Health strongly opposed dropping it even for tourists, Ananiev explained. However, negotiations will be held with Greece, Serbia and Romania on common rules on how to move tourists in the summer.
