Mustafa Karadayi, who was elected to a new term at the head of the MRF at the end of last week, told BNT that Delyan Peevski’s role in the party is beyond question. The reason for his comment was the statements of former MRF cadres, who suggested that there could be a break in the MP’s relations with great economic and media influence with the honorary president of the political force Ahmed Dogan.
Karaday recalled some of the donations from companies associated with Peevski, adding that “what he did in the fight against coronavirus has no analog in Bulgaria.”
The MRF leader reiterated his words at the party conference last week, when he announced that the goal was to enter the government and actively participate in the green transformation of the Bulgarian economy.
“By definition, we want to be in power, which is the goal of all parties. We want all Bulgarian citizens to hear our messages and priorities, which coincide with those of the EU,” added Karaday.
