Parvan Simeonov: The protest is concretizing Borisov, he’s so crammed into the corner that he can’t get to the door | Politics News from Bulgaria and the world

The protest is taking place in Boyko Borissov. It’s paradoxical, but he’s so cornered that I can’t get to the door.

This was commented by sociologist Parvan Simeonov on bTV. According to him, it is too late for Borisov’s resignation. He accepted the opposition to President Rumen Radev as a matter of honor, and the protesters did not allow him to leave at the right time.

I support the radicalization of the protest, but in such a situation it is always important how radical it is, because the other people who support the protests say to each other after September 2: “We don’t want that much,” Simeonov explained. According to him, Borissov is waiting for the protesters to make enough mistakes to reduce his support, as well as partisan discontent. This is already happening, the protest looks more and more like an electoral campaign, explained the Gallup boss.

I hope that President Radev fuels the protest, has the highest rating and will benefit from rallies and marches against the government, Radev added.

According to sociologist Mira Radeva, Borisov has made many mistakes. She described his behavior as inappropriate when turning the jeep and talking about the government’s achievements, when everywhere they wanted his resignation. I’ve met a lot of people lately, they all wonder “What do you think will happen?” That is what Borisov must answer, Radeva said.
