Another tragedy brought grief to the Haskovo region. Silvia Miteva, a 21-year-old athlete, died today in a car accident at a very young age. The accident occurred in the Stara Zagora region.
Silvia Miteva is a multiple Republican medalist and long-time athlete of the sports wrestling clubs “Valko Kostov” – Simeonovgrad, and “Angel Voyvoda” – Haskovo.
Sylvia began her career at the age of 9, but her success was swift, as did her Republican titles. 4 years ago at the “Ruse Legends” tournament in the 42 kg category, the talented athlete won a silver medal. In 2017 he was in a camp with the Greek team in Komotini, in 2019 in Topolovgrad he won the Stanka Zlateva award.
“The girl is one of the talented local employees of our wrestling club, one of the best athletes in Simeonovgrad,” her coach Rosen Bonev told Maritsa.
