The Chief Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria came up with a post called “CONDEMNATIVE STATEMENT ON THE LATEST PUBLICATIONS OF CHARLIE EBDO MAGAZINE”. He claims that the last cover of the cartoon “Charlie Hebdo”, depicting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is “the background of shamelessness, big eyes, vulgarity and lack of respect for human rights and dignity.”
According to the Bulgarian Mufti Office, French President Emmanuel Macron had followed in the footsteps of the neo-fascist way of conducting politics and rhetoric.
Furthermore, the religious institution of the Muslim faith defines Charlie Hebdo as a “satanic magazine” and declares a firm position against “any manifestation of invasion of religion, its sanctities and human dignity”.
“After the desecration of the envoy Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the published cartoons, this time Charlie Hebdo magazine also targeted the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Muslim faith in the Republic of Bulgaria He strongly condemns this disgusting attempt to spread the word and hatred. The so-called cartoons are disgusting and lack a sense of human decency and humanism. This is a hoax about the personality and dignity of the people, “said the mufti.

CONDEMNATIVE STATEMENT OF THE RECENT PUBLICATIONS OF CHARLIE EBDO MAGAZINE
The cover of the latest issue of Charlie Hebdo magazine hit rock bottom with shamelessness, big eyes, vulgarity and disrespect for human rights and dignity with this daring provocative experience. We are witnessing all this thanks to the encouraging actions of President Macron, who has followed in the footsteps of the neo-fascist way of doing politics and rhetoric.
We strongly condemn this satanic magazine, which antagonizes our world and the pure messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Muslim denomination in Bulgaria declares its categorical position against any manifestation of usurpation of religion, its holy places and human dignity.
After the desecration of the envoy Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the published cartoons, this time Charlie Hebdo magazine also targeted the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Muslim faith in the Republic of Bulgaria strongly condemns this heinous attempt to spread racism and hatred. The so-called cartoons are disgusting and lack a sense of human decency and humanism. This is a deception with the personality and dignity of the people.
The Muslim faith emphasizes once again that freedom of speech and of the press must be within the framework of human ethics and responsibility, not violate rights and freedoms, and not harm others. We must be sensitive to issues that acutely trample on the individual, because this is the basis of tolerance and good coexistence among the different in a society.
