Now the minimum wage is 250 BGN, while the maximum is 1200 BGN. “Currently, different calculations are being made, with different options. Our wish is to support all Bulgarian pensioners, but at the same time maintain the solidarity and fair model of the pension system. The options are different, as the most favorable, perhaps, is the minimum pension to become BGN 300, and the maximum BGN 1,400 “, explained Sacheva. However, this will also have to increase the maximum insurance income, because the ceiling is nailed to 45%. About 9,000 people will remain confined to it.
Next year, the minimum wage will be 650 BGN, but it has not yet been decided whether all salaries in the budget sector will be increased by 10%. However, the increase in salaries in municipal administrations was discussed. This year, the government has already increased wages by 30% in 28 administrations tasked with fighting the coronavirus.
