The business climate in our country, which in mid-2020 had reached its lowest levels since the global financial crisis of 2008, improved significantly in January, the indicator increased by 6.9 points compared to December last year. Optimism has conquered all areas: industry, construction, services, but it is expressed more seriously in retail trade, where the increase is 11.2 points. Despite the uncertain economic situation, retailers anticipate an increase in sales over the next 3 months.
According to the managers of industrial companies from October last year. By January 2021, production provisioning with orders had increased from an average of 4.5 to 4.9 months, and capacity utilization had reached 74%, increasing by 1.2 percentage points over the same period.
Only in industry are some price increases expected. In retail, construction and services, prices are expected to remain at current levels for at least the next three months.
