The Ethical Employers Alliance received 50,000 applications. However, only 6,000 appeared in the video interview. Of these, 900 were approved and, in the end, the offer was accepted by 112.
Farmers insist that there is simply no way to deal with this situation unless seasonal workers from Eastern Europe reappear.
“It is difficult to start at 5 in the morning. He is not British,” one of them is adamant.
