Officially: The measures in Sofia – Society have been expanded

The distance learning introduced for high school students lasts until November 27 inclusive. This was decided at today’s meeting by the Sofia Headquarters, announced the press center of the Municipality of Sofia.

Sixth and seventh grade students enter distance learning in an electronic environment. The measure will be introduced on Friday, November 13, and is expected to remain in effect until November 27. It is recommended that school principals move to an electronic environment for other classes as the number of patients increases.

Currently, 49 metropolitan schools have undergone distance education in an electronic environment. Sick and quarantined children and students are 6,265, and quarantined teachers and educators are 780 people.

The prohibition on the operation of nightclubs – bars, clubs and discos, as well as the restriction introduced on the working hours of establishments until 11:30 p.m., remains in force for another two weeks. The prohibition of visits to large commercial sites – shopping centers of persons under 18 years of age remains in force. Citizens over 65 can take advantage of the “green aisles” in grocery stores between 8 and 10 am.

SDVR, CGM, Municipal Police and Sofia Inspection inspections continue for compliance with measures in public transport and commercial sites. More and more people are reportedly wearing masks and keeping their distance in public places. Since the beginning of the month, SDVR teams have screened 6,656 people in quarantine.
