The Executive Director of the Medicines Agency Bogdan Kirilov STAFF: BNT
“More than 2,700 who received the first dose of the vaccine. Of the 2,700 doses administered at the Agency for Medicines, we have reported one adverse reaction: the expected redness at the injection site.” This was said in the program “From the day” at BNT by the executive director of the Agency for Medicines Bogdan Kirilov.
“30 minutes ago I spoke with Prof. Gigov, who is the head of the vaccination headquarters, and he informed me that there is no difficulty on the part of the RHIs and the directors of the hospitals,” he added.
According to him, weekly vaccine deliveries are expected.
“Everyone should receive the most objective information about individual vaccines, then consult a specialist doctor and decide together which vaccine is appropriate for the person,” explained the head of the Medicines Agency.
He recalled that vaccines are provided to the entire population.
“Anyone who wants to get vaccinated can take advantage of this opportunity,” he said.
He added that the next vaccine, on which a positive opinion is expected from the European Medicines Agency, is that of Moderna.
“It operates on the same principle as Pfizer / Biontech, we await the opinion on January 6,” explained Bogdan Kirilov.
