During regular communication with Bulgaria, there is a constant exchange of opinions and ideas to overcome differences, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, reported Makfax, quoted by BTA.
The two countries often share proposals and points of view in which they express and explain their positions, the ministry added.
“The last in the series is the Plan for the fulfillment of obligations in the Friendship Agreement, proposed by us and for which we hope in these days to receive a response or comments and suggestions from Bulgaria,” the ministry said in a statement. They added that Minister Buyar Osmani had a conversation with his Bulgarian counterpart Ekaterina Zaharieva this week.
The goal is to find a way to strengthen the implementation and efficiency of the 2017 Friendship Treaty, the ministry explained.
“In this way, trust will be restored both in the Treaty and in the dialogue process between the two countries to overcome differences, as is the case of two fraudulent neighboring countries in Europe,” the statement said. It is added that in the next period, Special Representative Vlado Buckovski is expected to make frequent trips between Skopje and Sofia.
