Kaloyan Metodiev, still in the position of head of the presidential cabinet, joined the festive meeting on Saturday, which the social leader organized at the Hotel Samokov in Borovets. There he gathers his team and his closest MPs and party members to help them win the first direct election in the BSP, but also to tighten ranks. In Borovets, they have begun to forge a strategy for the next congress this weekend in order to defeat the opposition for more seats on the National Council.

Unofficially, Marinov has already shared with his colleagues Radev the intention to distance himself from the BSP and Cornelia Ninova and to recognize a new political force that is something between Maya Manolova and the so-called poison trio.

Charges were then brought and two members of the military team, Iliya Milushev and Plamen Uzunov, were arrested. That same night, Radev protested and shook his fist at Geshev and Borisov.
A key figure in Metodiev’s ouster was the president’s secretary general, Colonel Dimitar Stoyanov. Everything important that happens in Dondukov 2 is coordinated with him. He is the man who is obviously looking for advancements in the Boyko Borissov government. And I was with Radev in the square when the president raised his fist.
