Levski captain and Bulgarian national goalkeeper Nikolay Mihailov is another footballer diagnosed with coronavirus. He tested positive and immediately left the “lions” camp in Boyana, which will be in control tomorrow against Gibraltar.
Anton Nedyalkov tested positive for coronavirus
All other samples from the “lions” are negative.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper was expected to protect the “tricolors” in upcoming Nations League matches with Finland and the Republic of Ireland, after Plamen Iliev suffered a back injury and was out of play.
The news is also very bad for Mihailov’s club team. To date, a total of 13 “blues” players had a positive test for COVID – 19. Now the experienced goalkeeper joins this negative list of Levski. So Niki Mihailov is certainly out for the match with CSKA, which Levski will further insist on postponing as there are not enough players available.
A third goalkeeper is expected to be called up for the national team, and at the moment Georgi Dermendzhiev only has Martin Lukov and Ivan Karadzhov.
