Placing tables and consuming on the territory of the Christmas bazaars open in Sofia is prohibited. It is also prohibited to place open stages with cultural programming. This was decided at a meeting of the operational headquarters in Sofia.
Bazaars will be allowed to operate in strict compliance with anti-epidemic measures. The organizers of the Christmas bazaars must provide security for compliance with mandatory measures, prevent the accumulation of more people, introduce one-way traffic and must provide separate entry and exit. On the territory of the bazaars, merchants and visitors must wear protective masks.
There will be three Christmas bazaars on the territory of the municipality: in the area of the City Garden, in the park of the National Palace of Culture and on Slaveykov Square. In case of violations and non-compliance with the anti-epidemic measures introduced, the markets will be closed.
In the territory of the municipality of Sofia, the intensified control by the employees of SDVR, the Municipal Police, the Urban Mobility Center, the Inspection of Sofia and the Directorate of Prevention and Emergency Assistance of the Municipality of Sofia continues for compliance with measures in public transport and commercial sites. For the period between 10.10.2020 and 11.18.2020, 18,636 inspections were carried out.
Since the beginning of November, SDVR teams have verified 6656 people in quarantine.
Starting today, November 20, another specialized KOVID office opened at 25 DCC. Thus, there are already 11 specialized offices for the examination of people with flu symptoms in the municipal DCC. So far, 1982 citizens have been examined, 1904 antigen tests have been carried out and 549 or 28% of the tests are positive.
At the beginning of next week, the Sofia Operational Headquarters will decide on training in schools. Through November 27, 6th through 12th grade students are taught remotely, and elementary and 5th grade students are taught face-to-face.
