There are 23 new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus in our country in the last 24 hours, 13 of them in the hospital, Associate Professor Dimo Dimov, secretary of the headquarters of national operations, announced in his regular morning briefing. .

1079 tests have been carried out in the last 24 hours in our country. Activity was observed in 10 areas.
9 are the new cases of Sofia, as three are housed for treatment at the Military Medical Academy, two at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases. A 4-year-old boy was hospitalized at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases. There are four newly registered in Yambol and two in Pleven and Blagoevgrad. Smolyan district has been removed from the list of active districts.
Among the infected doctors there are 1 more doctor and 3 nurses: two cases are from Pleven and one in Burgas and Pazardzhik.
93 died in total. The average age of death was 66.7 years. 368 patients are in hospitals, of which 50 are in COVID-19 wards.
