The number of new cases of coronavirus in our country continues to grow. The positive samples of the last 24 hours are 18.66 percent of the tests carried out, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.
1154 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in 6182 tests: 4052 PCR and 2130 anginal.
Thus, the total number of active cases of coronavirus in our country increased to 33,770, and since the beginning of the pandemic their number is 253,183.
Most of the new cases of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours have been registered in Sofia – 380, followed by Burgas – 190, Plovdiv – 77 and Pazardzhik – 72. Only in Kardzhali there is not a single new case of coronavirus during the last day. .
The number of hospitalized patients is also increasing: 5,093 people, 425 of whom are in intensive care units.
In the last 24 hours, 22 people have died from coronavirus.
4,397 new Bulgarians have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. Thus, their total number reached 248,169. A second dose of the vaccine was administered to 41,873 people.
Despite the growing number of people infected with coronavirus and hospitalized, the authorities do not plan to tighten measures to limit the infection.
The restaurants opened on March 1, but students continue to study on a rotating basis. As of today the children of classes VI, IX and XII return to the classrooms.
