According to the killer’s neighbors, the man was a loner and a fighter, flatly refusing to pay his maintenance bill for the common areas on the pretext that the apartment was in his sister’s name. The apartment is hereditary, shortly before she died, Bozhidar’s aunt attributed it to her sister, who took care of her.
Neighbors have no idea what exactly the old man did, according to some, he was a painter, according to others, an electrician, but regularly claimed that he had no money for unnecessary expenses. Although friends rarely visited him, there were no serious scandals or complaints of yelling and beating.
Even less is known about the victim, since after the divorce more than 10 years ago he moved from the cooperative, and his ex-wife went to Italy with her son. Only her father, who was remembered some time ago, remained in the apartment, says an old woman downstairs.
During the inspection of the apartment, a set of knives and a hacksaw were found, with which Filipov probably dissected the corpse of his victim. The butcher waited for the body to cool, and only then began to cut it into pieces to “save” his blood purification.
It is believed that he discarded the parts: the head, legs and palms on different days and in different places, the last time he took out his severed arms on the night of December 13, he was left with only the torso bag.
One day after the arrest of the murderer, the strong smell of corpse can still be smelled on the landing of the 6-story building, but those who live there claim that they were not informed about the tragedy in apartment №31.
There is a sticker on the door of the apartment with a notice from November 4 of this year. of the district court of the city of Limes, with which Filipov was invited to receive a summons for a lawsuit against him for an unpaid quick loan. The remnants of stickers from the plumbing manifold are also clearly visible.
“We cannot believe that our neighbor has done such a thing. It is true that he is a temerut, he rarely greets, sometimes he is drunk, but our mind does not fit with what he is said to have done: kill a man and cut him as if it was a pig! ”, commented the neighbors of the block.
The Stara Zagora District Prosecutor’s Office confirmed Tuesday that Filipov had been charged with murder under article 115 and that the court was expected to be asked on Thursday to impose the most severe restraint measure, “custody detention.”

The prosecution recalls that the detainee was criminally charged with vandalism, but was not convicted. The murdered AH is also criminally involved, but did not appear before Themis either.
