Ivan Radev, 66, of Nessebar, who died under mysterious circumstances and his body was found at his home on Kraybrezhna Street after a powerful explosion, has been rotting in his home for at least two days, Flagman writes.

Radev’s house is located on one of the most expensive streets in the old town and has an incredible view of the entire Nessebar bay. He lived alone, had a son and a daughter, and an ex-wife. His children moved years ago and he was left alone to live in the two-story house on Kraybrezhna Street.

The first inspection of the site shows that he died at least 48 hours before the explosion. It was established that the explosion was caused by a gas stove with which it was heated. It is possible that the temperature in the room on the second floor has risen so much in the last 48 hours that this has caused a powerful explosion that shook the Old Town last night.

The great mystery is what exactly Ivan died of. He, as it turns out, is a property. The house, despite its unsightly appearance, is valued at at least BGN 500,000.

According to his neighbors, Ivan led an ascetic lifestyle. The last time he worked as a night watchman in a restaurant in the old town. He certainly had no savings, he had been complaining of various health problems for several years. He told a neighbor in the summer that he was already having a hard time even moving, and that his legs were gangrenous. He also had high blood pressure.

If it is a natural death or another is the cause of death, the pathologist will decide after the autopsy. The body has already been taken to the morgue. The house is currently detached, there are three forensic scientists from Nessebar, who are inspecting every detail.
