Positive samples are 14%
1,925 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours, according to the Unified Information Portal. This is the highest number of new infections in our country since the beginning of the year.
The newly infected were identified after 13,695 tests were performed. This means that the positive samples are 14%. Most of those infected were identified by rapid antigen tests.
The number of vaccinated has increased significantly since the opening of the “green corridors” over the weekend. More than 130,000 people have already received the first of two doses of the vaccine. Of these, 11,709 people during the last 24 hours. Those vaccinated with the second dose are 27,952.
The death toll in the last 24 hours is 79. Those cured on the last day are 777.
3,933 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, of which 334 were in intensive care units.
