During the last 24 hours in Bulgaria 3,519 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in 7,934 tests carried out. According to the National Information Portal, since the beginning of the pandemic in our country the number of registered is 101,770.
The highest number of new cases registered is in the capital – 1,163, followed by Plovdiv with 311 and Blagoevgrad with 224. In the other districts the distribution is: Burgas – 147, Varna – 124, Veliko Tarnovo – 74, Vidin – 9, Vratsa – 98, Gabrovo – 108, Dobrich – 50, Kardzhali – 15, Kyustendil – 132, Lovech – 24, Montana – 33, Pazardzhik – 73, Pernik – 66, Pleven – 85, Razgrad – 30, Ruse – 167, Silistra – 96, Sliven – 44, Smolyan – 4, Sofia Region – 75, Stara Zagora – 134, Targovishte – 25, Haskovo – 73, Shumen – 108, Yambol – 7.
Active cases are currently 69,171, of which 5,353 are hospitalized. There is a slight decrease in the number of people housed in intensive care units, which is 288.
A new record in the number of cured per day, which is 942. The death toll also reaches a maximum of 152 people.
