At least 100,000 people attended another anti-Lukashenko rally in the Belarusian capital today.
The scale of the demonstration can be seen in the accelerated images of the protest published on the Telegram channel “Belarus Now”:
Today’s demonstration was accompanied by brutal and indiscriminate arrests. According to Interior Ministry spokeswoman Olga Chemodanova, the Belarusian police have detained 250 participants in today’s protests in the capital Minsk.
The arguments for the arrests that Chemodanova listed are shocking: the detainees used flags and other symbols that were not registered in the prescribed way, as well as posters of various contents, even insulting, he said.
Videos posted on Telegram show Lukashenko’s police brutality and illogical arrests. Police in riot gear stormed a demonstration on Friday, taking hundreds of protesters away by truck.

The images of the arrests on Dzerzhinsky Avenue are also brutal. There, the police rush towards a group of young women who do nothing and begin to kidnap them:

The protests take place in other cities in the country and the police violence is equally brutal and senseless. In Zhodino, a small town near the capital Minsk, a policeman hits a woman in the face who tries to talk to him:
