The Greek government is introducing additional measures for those arriving in the country, regardless of their nationality: a 10-day quarantine and a rapid test for the coronavirus.

According to our embassy in Athens, from 06:00 a.m. on December 18, 2020 to January 7, 2021 inclusive, everyone arriving at the border checkpoints will be quickly screened for Kovid-19 and will rank below 10 daily quarantine. The requirement to complete a PLF form and provide a negative PCR test result 72 hours prior to arrival is maintained.
Until January 7, 2021, all measures applied so far against citizens entering Greece will continue. Until January 7, 2021, the ban on going out between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., as well as traveling from one county to another, has been extended.
Until January 7, 2021 inclusive, kindergartens and schools, all kinds of restaurants and bars, all kinds of entertainment venues, slopes, ski centers and all kinds of sporting events will remain closed. It is allowed to go out by SMS with code “6” for sports activities individually or up to three people at a time, observing the required distance and close to home and only outdoors.
