When the online training period for high school students expires, the Ministry of Education will issue a recommendation that protective masks be worn during class. The goal is to minimize the risk of spreading the coronavirus at school. It turns out that there is a mixture of students between the different classes and it is impossible to avoid the contacts.

“The proposal to make masks mandatory for high school students is very good. We will issue a recommendation that when we go back to school this happens, “said Deputy Minister of Education Tanya Mihailova.

“I think masks should be introduced in secondary schools all the time, not just outside the classrooms. There is no way to restrict contacts between classes. Some tend to go to other people’s rooms,” said Nikolay Georgiev.
